Manitoba Hydro -- Hydro-electric power is the primary power source in the RM of Lansdowne. The office is located on Highway 16 East, Neepawa (204) 476-2361. Volunteer Fire Department - Chief - Craig Unger. Water & Sewer The village off Arden has municipal water and sewer. The entirely new system has allowance for a substantial population increase. We are currently working on a rural water distribution system and that will be under construction in 2008. Waste Disposal Lansdowne operates two recycling facilities and a municipal collection site near the southeast corner of Arden. Hours of Operation: Mar to Nov: Mon & Wed 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM; Saturday: 9:00AM-1:00 PM Nov to Mar: Mon & Wed 11:00 AM to 4PM; Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Telephone Telephone services, as well as special services such as datapac and Internet, are provided by Manitoba Telecom Services (MTS). Cellular services are provided by MTS Mobility and by Rogers AT&T. Internet High-Speed wireless broadband Internet service is provided by I-NetLink (www.inetlink.ca) a regional service provider based at Brandon MB, and Dial-up service is provided by MTS.MB.CA Television
